"We bought our blackout shade about a month ago and just love it! My husband installed it all by himself even though it's quite big since it covers the patio French doors. He found it very easy to install. The brackets provided work very well and the blind itself works flawlessly.We have the shade that overlaps the outside of the door frame. We should have taken the advise of BlindsGalore's recommendations and gotten it a little bit wider but it works still very well with about one inch overhang on each side. the window is facing east so there's sun shining in all morning. When it's really hot (we live at the edge of the Calif central valley), we lower the shade and it works as a super sun and heat blocker also. Our living room and TV is opposite to this french door and when we watch movies now with the shade closed it works really great. No more glare at all!! We are very pleased with this product and highly recommend it."

"We bought room-darkening shades to help keep the cold out of our dining and living rooms. This did exactly what we needed allowing us to keep things warm. We have storm windows but the windows are large so a special size was needed. The blinds fit perfectly. I would buy from you again."
